1. আমরা কারা

এই অ্যাপটি তৈরি ও প্রকাশ করেছে Rojgar Telecom BD (OTOBI LTD.) (ঠিকানা: Aqra, P.O. Biruliya, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh)। এই নীতিতে “আমরা” বলতে তাদের বোঝানো হয়েছে।

2. যে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করা হয়

কোনোটিই না। অ্যাপটি নাম, ইমেইল, ফোন নম্বর, লোকেশন, ডিভাইস আইডি, বিজ্ঞাপন আইডি (Advertising ID), ব্যবহারের পরিসংখ্যান বা অন্য কোনো তথ্য আমাদের কাছে বা অন্য কোনো সার্ভারে পাঠায় না। আমাদের কোনো সার্ভার বা ডাটাবেজও নেই।

3. শুধু আপনার ফোনে যা রাখা হয়

অ্যাপ চালাতে কয়েকটি সেটিং আপনার ফোনের ভেতরেই (Android-এর SharedPreferences-এ) সংরক্ষিত থাকে:

• বেছে নেওয়া জেলা, হিসাব পদ্ধতি, আসরের হিসাব (হানাফি/শাফেয়ি), হিজরি তারিখ সমন্বয়;
• নোটিফিকেশন চালু/বন্ধ, কত মিনিট আগে মনে করাবে, ডার্ক মোড;
• আপনি “বর্তমান লোকেশন ব্যবহার করুন” বোতাম চাপলে পাওয়া আনুমানিক অক্ষাংশ ও দ্রাঘিমাংশ।

এগুলো ফোনের বাইরে যায় না। অ্যাপে Android-এর ক্লাউড ব্যাকআপ বন্ধ রাখা হয়েছে (allowBackup="false"), তাই এই সেটিংস Google-এর ক্লাউড ব্যাকআপেও যায় না। অ্যাপ আনইনস্টল করলে বা ফোনের সেটিংস থেকে অ্যাপের ডেটা মুছে দিলে সব মুছে যায়।

4. লোকেশন (ঐচ্ছিক)

লোকেশন ছাড়াই অ্যাপটি পুরোপুরি চলে — তালিকা থেকে জেলা বেছে নিলেই যথেষ্ট। আপনি নিজে “বর্তমান লোকেশন ব্যবহার করুন” বোতাম চাপলে তবেই অ্যাপ আনুমানিক লোকেশনের অনুমতি (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION) চায়।

• শুধু আনুমানিক লোকেশন নেওয়া হয় (সুনির্দিষ্ট লোকেশন নয়), একবার, অ্যাপ খোলা থাকা অবস্থায়। ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডে কখনো লোকেশন নেওয়া হয় না।
• এটি শুধু আপনার এলাকার নামাজের সময় ও কিবলার দিক হিসাব করতে ব্যবহার হয়।
• লোকেশন কখনো ডিভাইসের বাইরে যায় না, আমরা তা দেখতে পাই না, কারো সাথে শেয়ারও হয় না।
• অনুমতি না দিলেও অ্যাপ ঠিকমতো চলবে; ফোনের সেটিংস থেকে যেকোনো সময় অনুমতি তুলে নিতে পারেন।

5. নোটিফিকেশন ও সময়মতো অ্যালার্ম

আপনি সেটিংসে “ওয়াক্তের নোটিফিকেশন” চালু করলে অ্যাপ নোটিফিকেশনের অনুমতি (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) চায়। নোটিফিকেশনগুলো আপনার ফোনেই তৈরি ও নির্ধারিত হয় (পরের 14 দিনের ওয়াক্ত); কোনো সার্ভার থেকে আসে না।

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: ফোন রিস্টার্টের পর নোটিফিকেশনের সময়সূচি আবার সেট করতে।
• VIBRATE: নোটিফিকেশনের সাথে ভাইব্রেশনের জন্য।
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM (“অ্যালার্ম ও রিমাইন্ডার”): নোটিফিকেশন যেন ঠিক ওয়াক্তের সময়ে আসে। এই বিশেষ অনুমতি আপনি নিজে ফোনের সেটিংসে দিলে তবেই কাজ করে; না দিলে নোটিফিকেশন দেরিতে আসতে পারে।

নোটিফিকেশনে শুধু ফোনের ডিফল্ট শব্দ ব্যবহার হয়।

6. কম্পাস সেন্সর

কিবলার দিক দেখাতে অ্যাপ ফোনের ম্যাগনেটোমিটার ও অ্যাক্সেলেরোমিটার সেন্সর ব্যবহার করে। এর জন্য আলাদা কোনো অনুমতি লাগে না; সেন্সরের তথ্য শুধু স্ক্রিনে দিক দেখাতে ব্যবহার হয়, সংরক্ষণ বা পাঠানো হয় না।

7. তৃতীয় পক্ষ ও শেয়ারিং

আমরা কোনো তথ্য কোনো তৃতীয় পক্ষের সাথে শেয়ার বা বিক্রি করি না। অ্যাপে কোনো বিজ্ঞাপন, অ্যানালিটিক্স, ক্র্যাশ-রিপোর্টিং, Firebase বা অন্য কোনো তথ্য-পাঠানো SDK নেই। অ্যাপ থেকে এই গোপনীয়তা নীতির লিংক চাপলে তা আপনার ফোনের ব্রাউজারে খোলে; সেখানে সেই ব্রাউজারের নিজস্ব নীতি প্রযোজ্য।

আপনি যদি ফোনে Google-এর সাথে ব্যবহার ও ডায়াগনস্টিক তথ্য শেয়ার করার অনুমতি দিয়ে থাকেন, তাহলে Google Play তার নিজস্ব নীতি অনুযায়ী অ্যাপের ক্র্যাশ বা পারফরম্যান্সের সমষ্টিগত, পরিচয়হীন পরিসংখ্যান ডেভেলপারকে দেখাতে পারে। এটি Google-এর ব্যবস্থা; অ্যাপের ভেতরে এমন কোনো কোড নেই।

8. এই ওয়েবসাইট

এই ওয়েবসাইটে কোনো কুকি, অ্যানালিটিক্স বা বাইরের ফন্ট/স্ক্রিপ্ট নেই। অন্যান্য ওয়েবসাইটের মতো আমাদের হোস্টিং সার্ভার নিরাপত্তার জন্য সাধারণ সার্ভার লগ (যেমন আইপি ঠিকানা, ব্রাউজারের ধরন, সময়) কিছুদিন রাখতে পারে; আমরা তা কাউকে বিক্রি বা শেয়ার করি না।

9. আপনি আমাদের ইমেইল করলে

আপনি নিজে ইমেইল করলে আপনার ইমেইল ঠিকানা ও বার্তা শুধু উত্তর দেওয়ার জন্য ব্যবহার করা হবে। চাইলে ইমেইল করে সেই বার্তা মুছে ফেলতে বলতে পারেন।

10. শিশু

অ্যাপটি 13 বছরের কম বয়সী শিশুদের লক্ষ্য করে তৈরি নয়। অ্যাপটি কারো কাছ থেকেই — শিশুসহ — কোনো ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য সংগ্রহ করে না।

11. নিরাপত্তা

কোনো তথ্য ফোনের বাইরে যায় না বলে পথে তথ্য ফাঁস হওয়ার সুযোগ নেই। ফোনে রাখা সেটিংস Android-এর অ্যাপ-স্যান্ডবক্সে থাকে, অন্য অ্যাপ সাধারণত তা পড়তে পারে না।

12. আপনার নিয়ন্ত্রণ

• লোকেশন ও নোটিফিকেশনের অনুমতি যেকোনো সময় ফোনের সেটিংস → অ্যাপস → নামাজের সাথী → অনুমতি থেকে বন্ধ করতে পারেন।
• সংরক্ষিত সেটিংস মুছতে: ফোনের সেটিংস → অ্যাপস → নামাজের সাথী → স্টোরেজ → ডেটা মুছুন, অথবা অ্যাপ আনইনস্টল করুন।
• আমাদের কাছে আপনার কোনো তথ্য নেই, তাই আমাদের কাছ থেকে মুছে ফেলার মতো কিছুও নেই।

13. নীতির পরিবর্তন

এই নীতি বদলালে নতুন সংস্করণ এই পাতাতেই প্রকাশ করা হবে এবং উপরের “কার্যকর তারিখ” হালনাগাদ করা হবে। বড় কোনো পরিবর্তন হলে (যেমন ভবিষ্যতে কোনো তথ্য সংগ্রহ শুরু হলে) তা অ্যাপের হালনাগাদের বিবরণেও জানানো হবে এবং প্রয়োজনে আগে আপনার সম্মতি নেওয়া হবে।

1. Who we are

The app is developed and published by Rojgar Telecom BD (OTOBI LTD.), Aqra, P.O. Biruliya, Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh (“we”, “us”).

2. Data we collect

None. The app does not send your name, email, phone number, location, device identifiers, advertising ID, usage statistics or any other information to us or to any server. We do not operate any server or database for the app.

3. Data stored only on your device

To work, the app keeps a few settings on your device (in Android SharedPreferences):

• the selected district, calculation method, Asr method (Hanafi/Shafi‘i) and Hijri date adjustment;
• notification on/off, reminder minutes and dark mode;
• if you tap “Use current location”, the approximate latitude and longitude that were obtained.

These never leave your device. Android cloud backup is disabled for the app (allowBackup="false"), so they are not included in Google cloud backups either. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them.

4. Location (optional)

The app works fully without location — choosing a district from the list is enough. Only when you tap the “Use current location” button does the app ask for approximate location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION).

• Only approximate location is requested (never precise), once, while the app is open. Location is never accessed in the background.
• It is used only to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction for your area.
• Location never leaves your device; we cannot see it and it is not shared with anyone.
• If you decline, the app still works; you can revoke the permission at any time in your phone’s settings.

5. Notifications and exact alarms

When you turn on prayer notifications in Settings, the app asks for the notification permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS). Notifications are created and scheduled locally on your device for the next 14 days of prayers; nothing comes from a server.

• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: to restore the notification schedule after the phone restarts.
• VIBRATE: to vibrate with a notification.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM (“Alarms & reminders”): so that notifications arrive exactly at prayer time. This special access works only if you grant it in your phone’s settings; otherwise notifications may arrive late.

Notifications use only your phone’s default sound.

6. Compass sensors

To show the qibla direction, the app reads the phone’s magnetometer and accelerometer. No permission is needed; the readings are used only to draw the direction on screen and are not stored or sent anywhere.

7. Third parties and sharing

We do not share or sell any data to any third party. The app contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, Firebase or other data-transmitting SDKs. Tapping the privacy-policy link in the app opens it in your phone’s browser, which has its own privacy policy.

If you have allowed your device to share usage and diagnostics data with Google, Google Play may show the developer aggregated, anonymous crash and performance statistics under Google’s own policies. This is a Google service; the app itself contains no such code.

8. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts or scripts. Like any website, our hosting server may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and time) for a limited period for security purposes; we do not sell or share them.

9. If you email us

If you choose to email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. You can ask us by email to delete that correspondence.

10. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

11. Security

Because no data leaves your device, there is no data in transit to protect. Settings stored on the device stay inside the app’s Android sandbox, which other apps normally cannot read.

12. Your choices

• You can turn off location and notification permissions at any time in Settings → Apps → Namajer Sathi → Permissions.
• To delete stored settings: Settings → Apps → Namajer Sathi → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app.
• We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page and the “Effective date” above will be updated. Significant changes (for example, if the app ever started collecting any data) will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes and, where required, your consent will be asked first.
